New Moon Ritual: November 2023

Another unclear evening in ritual dream space. Although, to be fair, I am still recovering from the COVID booster which has me feeling pretty poorly. A smarter man than I would have likely skipped this month, but since I skipped October I felt like I needed to perform the ritual last night.

It was a bit of a scattered experience. At one point I woke up because it felt like someone was playing with my hair, which has never happened before in this house. I’m still on the fence if that is related to this ritual or something else entirely.

But here are some things that stood out:

  • Coins. A bunch of different types of coins. Some that looked ancient and some from contemporary currencies. For whatever reason the message I felt trying to come through was around the idea of “generational wealth” but it was unclear, and I couldn’t stay in this space long enough to get any clarity.

  • Void space and cross roads. There was a fair bit of time spent in a very tangible and physical darkness. It did not feel oppressive or scary, just cavernous. There was also the strange sense of possibility in this space. As if I could light a match and see one thing, blow it out and light another, and see something entirely different. That is why I am also saying this felt like a crossroads.

I’ll keep chewing on these for the next few days. As often happens, something will probably click when I least expect it. I also plan to do some other forms of divination to try and get more details or clarification.
